FRIENDS:

Greetings. It is always good to get back with you to let you know that PP is alive.

This update was written almost a month ago but for some reason I did not send it. I just find it. As said the old proverb: “It is never too late to do good.” ” Mas vale tarde que nunca” in Spanish. In French, “Il n’est jamais trop tard pour bien faire.” In Creole “Li pa janm two ta pou fe bien.”

The purpose of this update is to thank all of you who had taken part in the GO/4000 GOLF/OUTING. Thank you for your perseverance, your spirit of sacrifice, your determination and above Your LOVE for the Haitian CHILDREN.

Its purpose was to raise money to help Lacroix schools, that is to:

This Golf/Outing has been postponed twice because of rain. The first time it was scheduled to be on June 15. My son flew all the way from Haiti for that. The Conley’s with Kerby and I, were on the way to South Hills Country Club where the event was going to take place when Kerby received a text message that the Golf/Outing was postpone because of the weather. Kerby was very disappointed knowing that he has lost a great opportunity.

I would like to thank all of you who had taken the time to plan it and to make it happen through a lot of difficulties. It’s been postponed twice and the third time it took place. Thank you all for your patience. I know your patience came from knowing it was for a good cause.

I thank Carolyn Klasnick for birthing the idea from the very first time she went to Haiti. She thought that there ought to be a fun raising for the vocational school. Thanks Carolyn for pursuing this golden idea. I want to thank the entire family Tommy and Elizabeth Klasnick. I also thank Steven Brooks for joining. What a blessing! I believe that Carolyn has made the right choice. I won’t say why. Steven’s grand father Schuyler has been sponsoring this ministry since 1985 to this day. Steve must have this in his gene.

I would like to thank Brother Paul and Sister Sandy Conley for their efforts in planning for it. It took a lot of time along with anxieties, worries and doubts as to whether or not it was going to happen. Sandy, I know how you can be brain storming. Thanks Friends of Haiti for your coordination. Thanks Wesminster Presbyterian Church for your help. The Golf/Outing would not have happened had it not been for your cooperation and help. I would like to thank all those who organized the GOLF/Outing. There are people whose names I don’t have, this thank you is for you. Thank you very much.

Thank you for raising money for God’s children in Lacroix Haiti through the Golf/Outing. Children who are going to transform Lacroix and expand the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. They are the future generation.

For the first time since the existence of the secondary school we are able to buy text books for the students. It means a lot for the students. You can imagine how it likes to go to school with no text books and you have to copy notes all the time. We surely expect a better result in this academic year 2015-2016 because of the purchase of these text books. We were able to buy two printers for the school. What a blessing! Thank you very much.

You were able to help us also with the vocational school. For the first time we don’t need to worry as to where money is coming from to pay the Vo-Tech teachers. Money is already available for a full year. What a blessing! My son Kerby is working on getting a certification from the Haitian Government for the vocational school and this cost money. Thanks again for your provision. You will never know (I mean all of you who have been part of the Golf / Outing) how much a blessing you are to the children in Lacroix Haiti. Thank you for your obedience to God. I learned that our obedience always cause a multitude to be blessed.

School has been in session for two weeks now Kerby has made a change in the staff He has added an assistant and a secretary to Altenor the school superintendent. This assistant will also go to inspect the schools in Pacot, Perisse, Decouvert/Boukan Tony, LaCoupe, Foucardes and Paul.

With the inspections of the satellite schools on a regular basis we can expect a better result. Thank God for what He is doing through Kerby.

I covet your prayers for him.

May God bless you abundantly!
