- On the discipline funding pages, please note that any amounts shown by an item in dollar amounts, ($) will be purchased in Haiti. These funds will be donated, designated, and sent to Friends Of Haiti, P.O. Box 1441, McMurray, PA 15317. One of our goals is to support the Haitian economy as much as possible.
- The items that are in RED are available on the “La Croix Technical School”, Home Depot Favorites list and will be purchased online. We ask that you not substitute brands or item numbers without contacting Dan Beck, (see info below). At the Haiti summit we approved using DeWalt products to standardize our equipment quality and batteries as much as possible. If you can get the item at a better price at a different vendor, that is good, use the same shipping instructions. We also welcome used items in “very good condition”, you can also use the same shipper. Some of you may want to take advantage of the “combo packages”, to provide more for less.
- If you feel led to partner in a way that allows your gift to be used where it is needed most, please give as designated to the “ VTS general fund”. No donations noted as “ VTS general funds” will be used as missionary support.
- OTHER FUNDING REQUIREMENTS:
a) New teachers will be interviewed and hired for (8) disciplines this year. The school will need the most operational support over the first two years. We ask that you consider funding for at least a (1) year period. If a group of individuals or a church were to fund one teacher it would be quite affordable.
