“You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God” (2 Corinthians 9:11)

Friends:

I know you wonder how I am doing in Pittsburgh. Maybe you are thinking that I am so focus in Pittsburgh I do not think about you. God forbid! I think of you day and night. Believe me. I know you are not hard to believe for you are a believer. I think of you so much that I say before I go to church this morning I need to send you a few words. I love you all from the bottom of my heart. You are so good to me. You are part of my life. You cause me to live with hope. You cause me to make a difference in the life of many. I am so thankful to you for allowing me to bring relief to other people. I thank the Lord for putting you on my way. I don’t know if you know that old song: ” Since Jesus came into my heart; since Jesus came into my heart, floods of joy o’er my soul like the sea billows roll since Jesus came into my heart.” Since you people came into my life, floods of joy o’er my soul like the seas billows roll. Thank you for all that you do. I am so blessed. I don’t know what I would do without you. You are so vital. Thank God. Thank you for all your prayers.

I have a great visit in Pittsburgh as always. This is the last leg of my journey in Pittsburgh. I would like to thank all of you who have hosted me. Thank you for the delicious and mouth watering meals. Thank you for making your home my home away from home. You people you have the gift of hospitality. I did not miss anything while I was with you. You have opened your heart and your home to me. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share with you while in your home what the Lord is doing in the ministry in Lacroix.

Thank you for allowing me to visit your church and to share the wonders of the Lord in Lacroix Haiti. Thank you for the monthly support that you provide in order for the children in Lacroix to receive a good Christian education. Thanks for your great generosity. I know for many of you it is a sacrifice to go a second mile. You do it anyway. I appreciate that. Thank you for giving these children a bright future.

Thank you for visiting us in Lacroix. Thank you for coming to us in order to know the needs and how to better help.

Thanks to all of you who had come to the Haiti Summit at Hillside Christian Community last week. Thank you for traveling far: all the way from Virginia, from Vermont, from New York, from Ohio, from Indiana, from northern Pittsburgh to come to be with me for two days. Thanks Pastor Brad and Good News Gathering of Hillsboro OH for calling the summit to take place. Thanks Pastor David Morgan for hosting the Summit. Thanks Sister Shelley, Francine and all those who made the summit a success. It was good that we were able to get together to coordinate the effort of all the supporters of the mission. It was time to have something like that. It was the dream of Pastor Morgan for a long time. Pastor Mike Smith has talked to me about this also. But the Lord used Pastor Brad to make this happen. Thanks Pastor Brad for obeying the Lord. Thanks Pastor Jeff and Cheryl Lyle for giving the freedom to Pastor Brad to obey the Lord in this.

The people from the different States that I mentioned above are helping the mission but don’t know each other. The purpose of the Summit was to bring them together so they can work in unity for the benefit of the mission. If this group goes and start a project and leaves it unfinished the next group can finish it. Another purpose of the Summit was to identify the needs and the projects of the mission and to prioritize them like projects that need to be done within a year, two, five years, ten years and how these projects are to be funded.

I know some of you may wonder what is PP talking about ‘Summit’ The invitation was sent to Outreach team leaders who take teams to Haiti, to churches that support the mission. The emphasize was also put on Child sponsorship since it is the life line of the mission. Our top priority is the CHILDREN. If they don’t go to school the mission fails in its real mission. I would like to thank all of you who support a child or several. You are making a difference. We can not change the world but at least we can make a difference in one life. Our goal this school year is to have at least 2000 children sponsored. Before the Summit we had 1124 children sponsored. Since the Summit we picked about 26 new kids that bring the number to 1150 children sponsored. It’s been very difficult with only 1124 to meet the needs of the school children. As you can see we start making progress. The schools rely completely on the child sponsorship fund to feed the children and to pay salaries of teachers and other workers at the school. More we have children sponsored more we will be able to meet the needs of the children. I pray that we will be able to reach our goal to have these many children sponsored and even more. Please pray for us.

You know there is something about you because when I started to write I thought I was going to be very short. Look how long it gets. Don’t blame me. You are responsible.

Thank you so much for all that you do. Please remember to say a daily prayer for me. It doesn’t have to be long just a short prayer. Keep it short because I am short.

God bless you all.
